This includes vehicle electrics such as lights etc. Our aim is to ensure your vehicle is fully functional at all times, however you want to use it and whatever you want to tow.

Vehicle Specific Towbar Wiring
The universal bypass kit is a cost-effective way of bypassing the vehicle specific electrics and provides basic legal towing lights. The Vehicle specific towbar wiring kits (VSK) provide additional benefits. These include fog light cut-off, PDC cut-off, bulb failure warning, activation of TSP and support of LED trailer lights (depending on the vehicle's own equipment). We will always provide full information regarding vehicle electrics so that you can choose which solution will work best for you and your towing needs.
Vehicle coding
When it comes to newer vehicles, many need coding after a towbar has been fitted. This is to allow the vehicle's computer to recognise that it is towing. The activation of vehicle specific electrics is often coded by the main dealer, but at The Towbar Man (South) Ltd we are able to provide full vehicle specific wring kits (VSK) and code them on your behalf.

Our vehicle electrics form part of our mobile towbar fitting services and we are able to provide them throughout the home counties. We regularly work in Farnborough and Guildford but also cover Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey.
